DRAMA QUEEN

this tutorial was written by me on October 26th 2009

supplies you will need:

'Drama Queen' FTU Scrap Kit by Bea here under 'freebie' section blog not available at time of re-adding tutorial
template 277 by Missy here
tube of choice, I am using a Keith Garvey tube and you will need a licence to use his work

open up the template and duplicate and close original
delete the copyright layer
click on the circle layer and activate with your magic wand

open paper10 and paste as a new layer > selections > invert hit delete on your keyboard > select none, delete the original layer
activate the rectangle with your magic wand

open paper 08 and paste as a new layer > selections > invert hit delete on your keyboard > select none, delete the original layer
click inside the frame background

open paper 16 and paste as a new layer > selections > invert hit delete on your keyboard > select none, delete the original layer
add a drop shadow to the frame, i used : 2, 2, 75, 5, black
click inside thin rectangle 2 with your magic wand

open paper 11 and paste as a new layer > selections > invert hit delete on your keyboard > select none, delete the original layer
activate smallcircle1 with your magic wand

open paper 06 and paste as a new layer > selections > invert hit delete on your keyboard > select none, delete the original layer
add the same drop shadow as before on the glittered circle layer
delete the star layer

activate the frame background layer > selections > select all > selections > float > selections > defloat
open your tube and paste as a new layer, position > selections > invert > hit delete on your keyboard

duplicate the tube layer and on the original > adjust > blur > gaussian > 10.00
on the original tube change the blend mode to soft light
activate the smallcircle3 layer and open up heart01 element and paste as a new layer over the black circle, see mine for placement

open up bow01 element and resize by 75% paste as a new layer above the tube and image > flip > see mine for placement
open up pocket02 and paste as a new layer > image > rotate > free right > 15.00
drag this layer so it is below the drama queen rectangle layer, see mine for placement
add the same dropshadow to the pocket

activate the large blue rectangle layer and open up glitter01 and paste as a new layer
merge all layers visible and delete the background layer, add the copyrights and any text you would like to add

file > save as .png
