WINTERLICIOUS

This tutorial was written by me on 22nd November 2010 It assumes you have working knowledge of PSP and Animation Shop and it's tools, was written in Version 9, feel free to merge layers as when needed, unless otherwise stated
You will need:
Template xmas13 by tamie which you can download here
(Left hand side under xmas templates)
Scrap Kit 'Wintertyme' by tracy ( NO LONGER AVAILABLE )
Tube of choice, I am using the work of Elias Chatzoudis, you will need a licence to use his work

On to the tut....
Open the template > duplicate > close the original
image > resize > all layers 80% > image canvas size 600 x 600 and flood fill background white if needed
highlight the oval layer > selections > select all > float > defloat > open paper20 and paste as a new layer > invert and hit delete > delete original layer
delete copyright layer
highlight large circle layer > selections > select all > float > defloat > open paper23 and paste as a new layer > invert and hit delete > delete the original layer > adjust > brightness/contrast and slide brightness to around 40
highlight the smaller circle layer > selections > select all > float > defloat > open paper21 and paste as a new layer > invert and hit delete > delete the original layer > add the same brightness/contrast
highlight rectangle layer > selections > select all > float > defloat > open paper12 and paste as a new layer > invert and hit delete > delete original layer
highlight glitter oval > adjust > hue /saturation > colorize and change to match the rest of your tag
repeat the above step with the big snowflake
highlight the rectangle at the back > float > defloat > open tube of choice and paste as a new layer > invert and hit delete > change blend mode to luminance legacy and lower opacity to around 60
repeat the above step using a different tube on the small circle layer
open up the main tube and paste as a new layer and position > move the snowflake if it is being covered
open up skates > resize 20% and paste as a new layer and position ( see mine ) > adjust > sharpen
open up icicles and paste as a new layer > resize 80% and using your deform tool rotate so that it fits inside the rectangle ( see mine ) use your eraser tool to delete any over hang and drag below the tube layer
open bowrap1 and resize 50% > paste as a new layer ( see mine )
add any drop shadows to layers you wish now
add copyrights and your mark and any text you like > merge visible > delete the wite background layer and save as a .png
