50's


This tutorial was written by me on 14th April 2010
It assumes you have working knowledge of PSP and Animation Shop and it's tools, was written in Version 9, feel free to merge layers as when needed, unless otherwise stated
You will need:
Scrap Kit ' Rock n Roll 50's ' by Lis which you can purchase from Psp Girl Place
Tube Of Choice, I am using the work of Elias Chatzoudis, you will need a licence to use his work
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow

Open the template and duplicate and close the original > delete the copyright layer > image > canvas size 600 x 600
click on spiked shape > float > defloat > open paper2 and paste as a new layer > invert and delete > delete the original layer
click on black circle > float > defloat > open paper11 and paste as a new layer > invert > delete and delete original layer
click on middle circle > float > defloat > flood fill with a colour of your choice
Click on middle circle frame > float > defloat > flood fill black
repeat with small musical notes, small stars
delete the large musical notes and the word art
click on scroll > float > defloat > flood fill with colour of choice
click on left photo mat > float > defloat > open paper11 and paste as a new layer > invert > delete > delete the original
repeat with the other photo mat
click on the photo mat frames > float > defloat and flood fill black
add drop shadows to layers of choice
open your tube and paste as a new layer and position > drop shadow
Open element10 and paste as a new layer and position ( see mine ) > drop shadow
Open element9 and paste as a new layer and position ( see mine ) > drop shadow
open element14 and paste as a new layer and position over one of the photo mats > resize > 30%
open element15 and repeat with the other photo mat
add a gradient glow to the small musical notes
open element40 > resize > 75% and position ( see mine )
move the scroll layer to the top and use your deform tool to rotate ( see mine )
add your text, copyright layer and your mark > delete the background layer and merge visible and save as a .png
