Snow Fun ~ Tutorial

This tutorial was written by me on December 14th 2009
You will need:

Scrap kit 'Snow Fun' By Lady Saphira, which you can purchase at Your Scrap Addiction here
Mask of choice
Animated snow ( mine supplied )
My supplies here


open a new transparent image 650 x 650, selections > select all
open paper3 and paste into selection > selections > select none
open up your mask and apply to this layer > merge group


add a new layer and flood fill white, send to the bottom for the background
set your background colour to #8ca3ac and fill null, click on your eclipse pre set shape tool and draw out a circle ( see mine ) with the width set to 5.0
convert to raster


select your magic wand and click inside the circle > selections > modify > expand 2
open paper7 and copy and paste as a new layer > selections > invert and hit delete on your keyboard, drag this layer to below the circle


draw another circle using the same settings but a bit smaller and place to the right of the other one ( see mine )
again click your magic wand inside and expand by 2, open paper4 and copy and paste as a new layer > selections > invert and hit delete, drag this paper below the 2nd circle you just made


open up the sign and paste as a new layer and move towards the left hand side ( see mine )
open up the snowman and paste as a new layer > image mirror and position ( see mine )
open up bow2 and copy and paste as a new layer and place on the larger circle, below the sign
add a drop shadow of choice to the sign and the snowman layers
open doodle2 and copy and paste as a new layer > image resize 85% > image flip and place ( see mine ) cut off the excess at the bottom
duplicate > image mirror and merge down together

click on the smaller circle layer and open up snowflake2 and copy and paste as a new layer, place below the snowman
add the copyrights and your mark, merge all layers visible
image > resize > 80% al layers
select your font and set your background to white and the fill the same as the circles, font I used was mistral, width 2.0, size 72, type out your text and add a drop shadow

open up the animated snow in animation shop and copy and paste your tag as a new layer into here also
duplicate it so you have 10 frames, the same as the snow, click on frame 1 of the snow and edit > select all
click on frame 1 of the tag and > edit > select all
click on frame 1 again of the snow and drag across to onto the tag
view animation and save
